Compare Website SEO Authority Side-by-Side
Directly benchmark Moz Domain Authority (DA), Page Authority (PA), Ahrefs Domain Rating (DR), Spam Score, and total backlinks between any 2 or 3 domains in real time.
How to Benchmark Competitor Domains Effectively
1. Check Authority Velocity
When comparing your domain against high-ranking competitors, note whether the gap stems from raw backlink quantity or domain trust. A domain with 500 high-DA dofollow links regularly outranks one with 5,000 low-quality links.
2. Understand DA vs DR Discrepancies
Moz DA focuses heavily on web-graph link equity and spam signals, while Ahrefs DR measures the relative size and strength of unique referring root domains. Reviewing both gives the true picture of competitive strength.
3. Audit Spam Contamination
Competitors with a Spam Score over 30% are vulnerable to algorithmic devaluations during Google core updates. Ensuring your backlink profile remains below 5% gives you long-term index stability.
